Hey! My name is Kathryn and I am 19 years old. I live in Kernersville, NC and I just finished my first year at North Carolina State University. I started this year as a Fashion and Textile Management major and I finished this school year knowing only that I wanted to get out of Textiles. I do plan on going back to school in the spring semester, hopefully knowing what the Lord wants me to do with my life.
I grew up in a Christian academy, but didn’t discover the trueness of Christ’s redeeming love until my first semester in college. What a change that has made in my life!
I have amazing parents who have been nothing but supportive in my endeavor to take time off school and go to India, and three amazing siblings. I have two older sisters, and an older brother. i also have an incredible brother-in-law who was recently added to the family 🙂
I love to read. I wish I had more time for it because I keep thinking of more and more books that I want to read! I also love to spend time with my family. We are a very close family, something that I am so blessed to be a part of. I also enjoy being outside- I love enjoying God’s creation. Whether it’s the beach or the mountains, or just watching the beautiful colors of a sunset.
I’m so excited about going on this trip! I will admit that I’m nervous, but I know that God will do great things through those that are willing.
